Isabel (Caruthers) Mccrary

Runaway Bay ~ Isabel McCrary, 85, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Decatur.

Funeral Service is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at DFW National Cemetery at a later date. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Isabel was born March 1, 1935 to Thomas and Maggie (Wiggins) Caruthers in Johnstone, Scotland. She was united in marriage October 11, 1978 to Hugh Franklin McCrary for 39 years who went to be with the Lord on February 17, 2017 in Decatur. Isabel was a restaurant owner and attended Trinity Fellowship.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hugh Franklin McCrary.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Von Floyd of The Colony, Tom Floyd of Tacoma, Washington, and Marc Floyd of Belton; her daughters, Jenifer Criswell of Euless and Joanie Hutchings of Crosbyton; 9 grandchildren, Chris, Don Eric, Amanda, Courtney, Rachel, Tiffany, Nick, Haley, and Hannah; 8 great-grandchildren, Cole, Ansley, Kaley, Emily, Davin, Krystiana, Alexandria, and Gabriella; her sister, Ann Jameson of Scotland; numerous other family and friends.
