Decatur: Jack Franklin Walker, 77, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, March 10, 2009 in Decatur.
Service will be private. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Jack was born May 16, 1931 in Trinity, Texas to John and Blanche (May) Walker. He married Francis Yvonne Scott on February 1, 1958 in Trinity, Texas. Jack retired after 38 years of service from Phillips 66 as a utility operator.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Yvonne Walker of Decatur; son, Dr. Jon Walker and wife, Colleen of Bridgeport; daughter, Dana Graves and husband, Brad of Bulverde, Texas; three grandchildren, Daniel and Casey Graves and Lindsey Walker; brother, Joe Sam Walker and wife, Catherine of Crockett; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Paul, Handley and Jerry Walker; and sister, Etha Louise Pritchett.
