Jack Watson, 77, went to be with our Lord Saturday, July 22nd, 2023 in Decatur, Texas

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 28th, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Boyd, Texas with burial at Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Randy Beggs will officiate. Speakers are Jerry McGee and Mark Jones. Pallbearers include Bart Romines, Charles Romines, Cody Romines, Alvin Taylor, Glenn Romines, and Paul Watson. Honorary Pallbearers include JH Brazier, Bobby Brazier, Lloyd Clayton, Beaumont Brown, and Keith McComis.

Jack was born September 6, 1945 to Paul and Mary (Richardson)Watson in Petersburg, Texas. He proudly served our country in the United States Army, also serving 12 years in the National Guard. Military Honors will be provided by Wise County Veterans Group. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Watson; 4 sisters, Mildred Faulkner, Lillie Ransom, and Edith Taylor; 5 brothers, James Romines, Douglas Romines, J.C. Watson, and Delbert Watson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Larry Watson; his daughters, Terri and Kim; 2 grandsons, 1 granddaughter; brother, Joe Watson, and sister, Evelyn Davis; extended family members and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
