Jacob Thomas Hunter

Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday, January 12, 2012 at First Baptist Church in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Mark Autry and Dr. Carl Gardner will officiate. Pallbearers are Bryson Gentry, Garrett Bollom, Chad Clark, J.J. French, Daniel Armentor, and Douglas Armentor. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Hunter, Paul Hunter, Karl Holloway, Kevin Holloway, Zachary Holloway, Nicholas Holloway, Jared Beaty, and John Beaty.

Jake was born December 4, 1988 to Alton and Vicki (Holloway) in Bedford, Texas. He was a graduate of Boyd High School. Jake loved to hunt, fish, off road sports, and boating. His faithful companion and best friend was his American Bulldog "Lily".

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Pauline Judge Hunter; and his great grandparents, Rayford and Paula Ranne Holloway.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Alton and Vicki Hunter of Boyd; his brother, Justin Hunter and wife Courtney of Boyd; his grandparents, John C. Hunter of Boyd, Bill and Irene Holloway of Weatherford; his dog, Lily; aunts, uncles, other family members, and a host of friends.

I am extremely sorry for your loss, I know the pain and hurt you are experiencing, 8 yrs ago I lost my 18 yr old son. I pray that God sends you comfort and peace in your time of need.
