BOYD -- Jake Hull, a retired welder, went to be with our Lord , Thursday, May 28, 2009, in Decatur. At the age of 67 years,9 months and 20 days.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday.June 1,2009 Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Officiating: Rev. John Mann.
Jake was born on August 8,1941 the son of Harry E. and Ethel (Stearns) Hull in Lipan,Texas. He married Wanda Maxine Lawson on January 31,1967 in Justin,Texas. Jake was a member of the LaJunta Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by parents, sisters, Bonnie and Juanita Stearns.
Left to cherish his memory are: his wife, Wanda of 42 years; Daughter, Glenda Prewitt and husband Tim of Boyd; six grandchildren: Veronica, Denise, Johnnie, Cody, Colton and Dakota; three brothers: Horace, George, and Donnie Ray Hull; three sisters: Sandra Hull, Francine English, and Linda Kay Hull; numerous nieces and nephews.
