James G. Cates, Jr., 58, a pharmacist, passed away September 13, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia.
James was born May 6, 1949 in Decatur, Texas to James Gordon Cates and Gladys Neel Taylor. He attended Decatur school through his sixth grade, then moved to Fort Worth where he graduated from Paschal High School. Upon graduation, he moved to Chicago, Illinois, and graduated from The University of Illinois.
Survivors: James is survived by his parents James Gordon Cates and Laura Cates; stepbrother, Joe Greene of Tulsa Oklahoma; aunt, Julia Murphy of Michigan and a host of cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Taylor of Fort Worth, Texas.
