DECATUR -- James Gilbert Crawley, 70, the owner of Crawley Construction, died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Crawley was born July 3, 1935 in Chicago, IL to William and Lois Rizor Crawley. He married Vicki Cone April 20, 1990 in Arlington. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William, Darrell, Donald and Robert Crawley; and sisters, Dorothy Crawley and Marion Brown. Mr. Crawley was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Bridgeport. Survivors: Wife, Vicki Crawley; daughters, Elaine Cobb and husband, Dennis and Debra Wilson and husband, Gary; sons, James Gilbert Crawley and Thomas Crawley and wife, Teresa; grandchildren, Randi, Natalie, Clint, Brandon, Charissa, Eillischa and Jared; sisters, Doris Culpepper and Betty Dolenchek; and his children's mother, Ingrid Crawley.
