BOYD -- James W.F. Gallop, 84, retired owner of Gallop Paint & Body Shop, went to be with our Lord Friday, Oct. 30, 2009, at his home in Boyd. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Sunday in Hog Branch Cemetery in Boyd. The Reverend Cabel Roberts officiating. Pallbearers: Jacob Gallop, Casey Sullivan, Dustin Kling, Casey Harris, Cory Duffy, Damon Drake, Jonathan McBurnett, Ronnie Bowman, Paul Duffy and Russell Gardner. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. He was born the son of William and Bertha Mae Gallop on September 29, 1925 in Petrolia, Texas. He married Jeannie Clements on September 3, 1954 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Those left behind to cherish his memory: wife of 55 years Jeannie, Children; Rodney Harris and wife Fama of Sunset, Jimmy Gallop and wife Terri of Alba, Patti Kling of Boyd, Sandy Duffy and husband Paul of Minneola, Bobbie Gardner and husband Russell of Arlington, Jana Burke of Richardson, and Norma Jean Gallop of Boyd. 14 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, Brother; Ernest Gallop and wife Becky of Oklahoma City, OK. Numerous relatives and a host of friends.
