Decatur: James William Headen, 77, an electrical engineer, went to be with our Lord, Friday, February 17, 2012 in Decatur.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 27th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplin Freddie Villa officiating.
James was born January 6, 1935 in St. Louis, Missouri to Thomas Francis and Agnes Lucille (Minor) Headen. He was united in marriage to Patricia Ann Bender on April 22, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri. James served in the U.S. Marines. He loved country living and his grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife, Patricia Headen of Decatur; 3 daughters, Diane Sanders and husband Mark of Decatur, Victoria Johnson and husband Chris of Corinth, Deborah Cross of Decatur; 8 grandchildren, Jason Sanders and wife Marnie of Little Elm, Taylor Williams and husband Burt of Krum, Katy Sanders, Michael, Clayton, and Russell all of Decatur; Christopher Johnson of Cornith, and Marquella Johnson of Little Elm; 2 great grandchildren, Addyson Sanders of Little Elm and Grady Williams of Krum.
