RHOME----James Miller, 73, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, December 29,2009, in Decatur. Service: Thursday at Christian-Hawkins Chapel. Burial: Sunset Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Ruby Helton will officiate. Pallbearers: Donald Carter, Jerry Green, Jessie Martinez, Eddie Miller, Jimmy Miller and Pete Broomhall.
James was born the son of Wesley Albert and Velma (Goss) Miller on January 2, 1936 in Choctaw County, Mississippi. He married Ema Jane Green on August 9,1958 in Weatherford, Tx.
James was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Loyd Miller.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 51 years, Janie Miller of Rhome; Daughters: Barbara Ann Lopez of Runaway Bay, Brenda Sue Sharlow and husband Steven of Rhome, Lisa Gail Davis and husband Paul of Rhome; 5 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; Brother, Ben Franklin Miller of Tolar, Texas; numerous other family members and a host of friends.
