James W. Milligan

Boyd- James W. Milligan, 82, went to be with our Lord Saturday May 11, 2024 in Decatur.

James was born December 21, 1941 in Boyd to Benjamin Franklin and Oprah Lucille (Kent) Milligan. He married Barbara Hoover in   Rockport, Texas and they were married for over 30 years at her passing. James worked for Texas Steel where he retired as a maintenance supervisor.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a dear friend to many who will miss him.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Oprah Milligan.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter Dawn Crum and husband Chris of Boyd; grandchildren, Christal Powell, Joe Bunker and Amanda Melo; numerous great grandchildren, extended family members and a host of friends.
