James Curtis "Jim" Reece

Rhome ~ James Curtis “Jim” Reece, 83, went to be with our Lord Monday, February 20, 2023.

Graveside Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Walters Cemetery in Walters, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Jim was born December 24, 1939 to Curtis Debs and Francis Lara (Stump) Reece in Walters, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage December 31, 1990 to Nancy Lee Kraft in Newark, Texas. Jim was a retired fork lift driver after many years in the shipping and receiving industry. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Jim was a beloved husband, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Francis Reece; 2 sisters, Vivian Brannon, and Pat Whitt.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Reece of Rhome; his brother, Bob Reece and wife Janice of North Richland Hills; and dear friends, Shane Felkner and Denise Rivera.
