Decatur: James Burvin Vandiver, 84, a farmer, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, September 20, 2009 in Decatur.
Memorial service will be held at a later date.
James was born on December 24, 1924 in Wise County to Otha L. and Alma (Brewer) Vandiver. He served in the United States Air Force.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his nephew, Billy Hudson, and wife, Linda of Electra, Texas; and several cousins.
