Springtown ~ James Edward Wallace Sr., 73, a retired auto mechanic, went to be with our Lord Thursday, November 22, 2012 in Springtown.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 26, 2012 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Bro. John Miller will officiate. Pallbearers include Louie Winters, Jamie Wallace, Shad Wallace, Carl Tackett Jr., Glenn Davis Jr., and Frank Ferrira.
James was born on February 2, 1939 to Andrew and Bessie (Huckabee) Wallace. He was united in marriage to Maudie Agnus Kirby on December 24, 1956 in Weatherford. James served his country in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, James Edward Wallace Jr.; and brother, Carol Wallace.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years Maudie Wallace of Springtown; his son, Andrew Daniel Wallace and wife Trina of Mansfield; his daughter, Pamela Sue Davis and husband Glenn of Springtown; 12 grandchildren, Shannell, Louie, Carl, Andrew Jr., Shad, Janie, Glenn Jr., Amanda, Tanner, Lauren, Fayte, and JessieJames; 19 great grandchildren; his brother, John Hennery Wallace of Fort Worth; his sisters, Rosie Pollard of Chico and Betty Morrow of Chico; other family members and host of friends.
