James Robert Whitfill

Decatur ~ James Robert Whitfill, 71, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

James was born January 26, 1951 to James Lawrence and Era Marie (Martin) Whitfill in Plainview, Texas. He was a graduate of Plainview High School and owned and operated a mechanic garage. James was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Era Whitfill.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Jaron Whitfill of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, and Nathan Whitfill; his granddaughter, Nova Whitfill of Albuquerque, New Mexico; his brother, Larry Whitfill; and his sister, Linda Dorr; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
