Mineral Wells ~ Jan Fortenberry Ervin, 63, a medical transcriptionist, went to be with our Lord, Monday, March 6, 2017 in Mineral Wells.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Boyd Cemetery in Boyd. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd.
Rev. Ed Rhoads will officiate.
Jan was born on October 4, 1953 to Willis and Janet (Sutherland) Fortenberry in Fort Worth, Texas. She was a loving mom, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Fortenberry; and her brother, Alan Fortenberry.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters; Loree Ingram and husband Brett of Mineral Wells and Jan Marie DeRoche of Colorado; her son, J.W. DeRoche and wife Amy of Mineral Wells; her mother, Janet Fortenberry of Boyd; her sisters, Patti Fortenberry and Kaye Fortenberry both of Boyd; her brother, Tony Fortenberry and wife Rita of Fort Worth; her grandchildren, Samantha, Stephanie, Sydnee, and Garrett; along with many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
