Boyd -- Jan Mayhew, 56, assistant manager of Fred's in Bridgeport went to be with the Lord Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009 in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at The First Baptist Church in Boyd. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. She was born the daughter of Weldon and Lucille (McKown) Lucas on Setember 28,1953 in Arkansas.Jan married Bill Mayhew on October 15,1971 in Fort Worth.
Those left to cherish her memory : husband of 38 years,Bill Mayhew of Boyd son, Cody Mayhew of Boyd Brothers: Milton Lucas and wife Toni, James (Pete ) Lucas and wife Linda all of Fort Worth. Sisters: Sue Smith and husband Smitty of Fort Worth,Carolyn White and husband Charles of Granbury;
