Janice (Renshaw) Pitts

Decatur ~ Janice Renshaw Pitts, 80, went to be with our Lord Monday, May 1, 2023.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Marvin Saunders will officiate. Pallbearers include Matthew Little, Michael Little, Spencer Pitts, Hunter Little, Gary Prescott, and Jacob Delka.

Janice was born March 25, 1943 to Bobby and Mozelle (Cartwright) Renshaw in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage February 28, 1964 to William Stanley Pitts in Denton, Texas. Janice was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobby and Mozelle Renshaw; a sister, Sandra Little; and great-grandson, Callen Little.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Stanley Pitts of Decatur; daughter, D’Ann Little of Decatur; her son, Bill Pitts and wife Leah of Decatur; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Little and wife Nancy, Michael Little and wife Tasha; Spencer Pitts and Cameron Pitts; 4 great-grandchildren, Alexis, Sara, Hunter, and Blayne; great-great-grandson, Jensen Delka; her sister, Kathy Harris and husband Mike; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
