Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Janie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Nabors VanHoose and sisters, Patsy and Sherry. Survivors: Daughter, Dawn Cortez and husband, Michael of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Aaron and Courtney; sister, Jaquelyn Newby of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers, Bill VanHoose and wife Darlene of Bridgeport, James VanHoose of Ft. Worth, Jerry VanHoose and wife Norma of Runaway Bay, Travis VanHoose and wife Betty of Bridgeport, Dale VanHoose and wife LaQuita of Ft. Worth, Tommy VanHoose and wife Kim of Runaway Bay and Larry VanHoose and wife Kathy of Decatur; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
