Bridgeport---Jannie Marie Doty, 70 went to be with our Lord on the morning of Saturday, April 5, 2008 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service: 3 PM Saturday at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Bro. Roger Rhodes will officiate.
Jannie was born November 15, 1937 to Pete and Arvilla Chance Bridges in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Years ago, Jannie was baptized into the Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher. She married Burrell Doty, September 11, 1980 in Fort Worth, Texas. Jannie loved flea markets, auctions, estate and garage sales.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Aaron Doty as well as several siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 28 years, Burrell Doty of Bridgeport; 3 daughters: Linda Chance of Seattle, Washington, Lisa Sales of Omaha, Nebraska; Donna Stothers and her husband Richard of Bridgeport; 2 sons: Michael Billingsley of Seattle, Washington, Cecil Doty and wife Susan of North Attleboro, Massachusetts; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her brother: Pete Bridges of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
