Jasmin (Apodaca) Godwin
October 21, 1975 — May 17, 2016
Isis Jasmin Godwin, 40, of Aurora, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at her home. A visitation service will be held at Coker- Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur from 6:30-8:30pm on Friday May 20th.
Jasmin was born October 21, 1975 in El Paso to Jesús and Elva Apodaca. She married Timothy Godwin March 11, 2005. Jasmin was a graduate of Denver City High School and held a Bachelor of Science from Texas Tech University. In her professional career, she was a 911 dispatcher, State Trooper with the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Tarrant County Deputy and a real estate agent.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, an avid gardener, cook, and baker, but interior design and architecture was her favorite pastime. She was an incredible mother, wife, teacher and nurturer.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Tim, parents Elva and Jesus Apodaca, daughters Nicole and Kaitlynn, sons Damian and Kaleb, and siblings Hazel, Lee and Mac Daniel, and her canine sidekick “Chanel."
