Decatur: Jean Eaton Holt, 95, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Monday, January 17, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 21st at Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Jim Dean officiating.
Jean was born November 11, 1915 in Comanche, Texas to D. F. and Fannie (Epperson) Eaton. She married Clyde Edward Holt on June 25, 1943 in Marietta, Oklahoma and was married 67 years at his death on February 28, 1995. Jean attended Texas Tech University and was a W.A.S.P. Pilot (Women Airforce Service Pilots) during WWII. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Clyde Edward Holt and wife, Penny of Decatur; grandson, Justin Edward Holt of Dallas; granddaughter, Logan Elizabeth Holt of Houston; and great grandson, Noah Edward Holt of Decatur.
