FORT WORTH -- Jean E. Bays Norris,77, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 2, 2011 in Ft. Worth.
Graveside is 1 p.m. Saturday at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends noon Saturday at the funeral home.
Jean was born on July 3, 1933 to Ernest and Flossie (Burrows) Bays in Gillam, Texas. She married Tommy E. Norris on November 17, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Jean was a baptist.
She was preceded in death by her brother, L.D. Bays.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 59 years, Tommy; daughters, Diane Woolum and husband Tony of Benbrook, Kay Kiker and husband Jerry of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren, Thomas Kiker and wife Maureen of Ft. Worth, Kristie Kiker of Ft. Worth, Michael Woolum, Sara Hooser and husband Blake, all of Benbrook; 3 great grandchildren, Jade, Keaton, and Brody; 2 sisters, Winnie Jones and Judy Bays; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

I am so heart broken over the lose of a grand lady and terrific Aunt. I adored Aunt Jean and Uncle Tommy. I know your hearts are breaking and no words I can say will bring you peace. But with the Dear Lord and time it will get easier. Your Mom and my Mom and Dad and my son are in heaven looking down and waiting to see us again.
Take care and tell Uncle Tommy I love him very much.
