Jeanelle Holder Jackson

Paradise~ Mildred Jeanelle Holder Jackson, 98, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 in Paradise.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Paradise. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Pastor Shawn Brewer will officiate.

Jeanelle was born on July 15, 1925 to Robert Lee “Bob” and Lola Lee (Davis) Holder in Erath County. She graduated from Morgan Mill High School and continued her education at Weatherford College obtaining her teaching certificate. Jeanelle was a homemaker and always devoted to her family. She was united in marriage to William Franklin “Bill” Jackson on January 11, 1948 in Weatherford, Texas and together 54 years until his passing on July 22, 2002. Jeanelle was a member of First Baptist Church of Paradise. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Jackson; and her sons, William Franklin Jackson, II and Bryan Keith Jackson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Robert Willis Jackson and Jan Jackson Cosgrove; her grandchildren, Robert Lee Jackson, Alanna Cosgrove Sessum, Janna Cosgrove Richardson, Wade Alan Cosgrove and Janzen Jackson Tew; her sister, Nora Beth Thornton; 7 great-grandchildren with one on the way; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
