Jeanette E. (Lanier) Montgomery

Jeanette E. Montgomery, 90, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, November 13th, 2024 in Decatur, Texas.

Graveside Service is 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 18th, 2024 at Perryman Cemetery in Forestburg. Family will receive friends prior to burial at the cemetery.

Gerre Joiner will officiate.

Jeanette was born July 23rd, 1934 to Wilson and Cleo (Culver) Lanier in Forestburg, Texas. She was united in marriage March 13th, 1961 to Charles William Montgomery in Gainesville, Texas. Jeanette was a homemaker and member of Forestburg Methodist Church. She was a beloved wife, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Cleo Lanier.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 63 years, Charles Montgomery of Decatur; numerous nieces, and nephews; extended family members and a host of friends.
