Decatur: Jeanie Hancock, 51, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, August 4, 2010 in Denton.
Funeral services are 11 a.m. Saturday, August 7th at First United Methodist Church in Rosston, Texas with Reverend Doyle Henderson officiating. Interment: Rosston Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Carl Rankin, Scott Hancock, David Hancock, Joe Knox, Jim Fortenberry, and Josh Willis.
Jeanie was born August 28, 1958 in Dallas, Texas to James Woodrow and Alleen Glasgow Willis. She married Mark Hancock on July 19, 1996, in The Colony, Texas. Jeanie was an Educational Specialist at the Denton State School in Denton, Texas.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 14 years, Mark Hancock of Slidell; brother, James G. Willis and wife, Arleen of Keller; nephew, Josh Willis of Keller and a host of friends.
Jeanie was preceded in death by her parents.
