Jeannie Ruth Gallop

Boyd- Jeannie Ruth Gallop, 88, went to be with our Lord Thursday, January 11, 2024 in Mineola, Texas.

Funeral is 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 22, 2024 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Officiant is Fred Raney.

Jeannie was born April 22, 1935 to Frank and Allie Clements in Cleburne, Texas. She was married in 1954 to the love of her life James Gallop until his passing. She worked many years as a secretary and then was a homemaker for her family and she was  a member of the Eastern Star.  Jeannie was a loving, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great - great grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Allie Clements. and husband of 55 years James Gallop.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy Lynn Gallop and wife Terri of Alba, Daughters, Jana Burke of Boyd, Norma Gallop of Paris, Texas; step-daughters, Patti Kling of Boyd, Sandy Duffy of Mineola, and Bobbie Gardner of Florida; step son Rodney Harris of Sunset; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; brother, Charles Clements; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
