Boyd ~ Jeannie Esther Ray, 73, a retired bookkeeper, went to be with our Lord Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 10:30 AM Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Jeannie was born on July 4, 1948 to Esther Beulah Toliver in Fort Worth. She was united in marriage to Jerry Lee Ray on June 5, 1971 in Marietta, Oklahoma. Jeannie was a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Lee Ray; her daughter; her grandson, Jimmy Winn; and her granddaughter, Everly Gibson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 daughters, Jenny Montgomery and husband David of Boyd, Denise Shoecraft and husband Wes of Boyd, and Lucy Farris of Boyd; 7 grandchildren, Kristina, Cody, Alexis, Tyler, Emily, Samantha, and Logan; 3 great-grandchildren, Jack, Spencer, and Quinn; her sister, Gail Amburn of Perrin; her brother, Richard Daugherty of Kennedale; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
