He was preceded in death by his step-father, Victor Reynolds.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Gina Brooks of Lake Worth; his step-daughter, Rachel Dickey of Lake Worth; his mother, Margie Reynolds of Chico; his father, Everett Brooks and wife Ravina of Chico; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
