Jennge (Carpenter) Flowers

Cottondale ~ Jennge Carpenter Flowers, 64, a retired RN, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 29, 2019, at her residence in Cottondale.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Thomas Cemetery in Bridgeport. Bro. Gary Dimmitt will officiate. Family will receive friends 1:00 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Jennge was born October 20, 1954, to Jimmy Loyd and Dean (Cowan) Carpenter in Bridgeport. She was united in marriage February 14, 1987, to Michael Eugene Flowers in Paradise. Jennge was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 29 years, Michael Eugene Flowers; her brother, Jacky Lynn Carpenter; her uncle, Arrie Gilbert Cowan; and her aunts, Virginia Williams, Ola B. White, and Roberta Travis.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her brother, Bucky Carpenter and wife Eddi of Bridgeport; children, Craig Flowers of Mabank, and  Stephen Flowers and wife Jody of Mabank; granddaughter, Lauren Flowers;  grandson, Preston Flowers; her nephew, Jason Carpenter and wife Loren of Grapevine; her niece, Jamey Carpenter; her great-niece, Maddee; her great-nephew Brendan, all of Runaway Bay; cousins, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
