Jennie Behan Polhemus

Jennie Behan Polhemus, 75, passed from this earth Wednesday, December 11, 2024 in Azle, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 16 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jennie was born June 21, 1949 to Richard John and Marion Louise (Cranmore) Behan in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage December 1, 1972 to John Polhemus in Dallas, Texas. Jennie graduated Thomas Jefferson High School. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard & Marion Behan; 1 brother, Tim Behan; and a sister, Harriet Thomas.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 52 years, John Polhemus of Decatur; her son, Jay Polhemus and wife Jennifer of Bowie; granddaughter, Kylie Polhemus of Bowie; extended family and a host of friends.
