Jeremy Pratt

Rhome ~ Jeremy Pratt, 44, proud father of two sons, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, March 19, 2025 in Dallas. 

Visitation will be held at Aurora Baptist Church, 201 Derting Rd. Aurora, TX 76078, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., followed by a funeral service at the church at 2:00 P.M. A graveside service will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas, at 4:00 P.M. 

Pastor Jimmy Withers will officiate. Pallbearers will include Phillip Pratt, Joel Pratt, Jordan Hines, Landon Pratt, Caleb Pratt, and Aaron Gore. 

Jeremy was born on January 26, 1981 to Joseph and Brenda Pratt in Euless, Texas. He was a caring father, brother, son, and friend to many. Jeremy was an avid outdoorsman who proudly supported the New Hope Equine Assisted Therapy organization. He was also a major contributor and friend to the Texas Hunting Forum community. He had a love for all things outdoors, including fishing and hunting. He was a true food enthusiast, shared a love for leatherworking, and had a deep appreciation for growing fresh, homegrown plants, with a special love for superhot peppers. Many knew him as “Bullfrog”. 

Jeremy will be remembered for his legacy as a generous soul, a guiding light, and a master of his craft who touched the lives of many. He had an affinity for turning life’s challenges into stories worth laughing about. Jeremy followed his own path, moving to the rhythm of his heart, secure in the knowledge that God understood him, all while exuding a quiet confidence that was uniquely his.

 He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Pratt. 

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his sons Connor and Dylan and their mother Melissa Pratt; his mother, Brenda Pratt of Rhome; his brothers: Phillip Pratt of Lewisville, and Joel Pratt and wife Calandra of White Settlement; his aunts/uncle: Cindy Dacus of Rhome, and Debbie Hines and husband Michael of Fort Collins, Co; his cousins: Jordan Hines, Chris Dacus; his nieces: Olivia, Hannah, and Taylor; nephews: Landon, Caleb, Aaron, and a multitude of loving family & friends.
