Decatur ~ Jerilyn Ann Singleton, 77, went to be with our Lord Thursday, October 10, 2019 in Decatur.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Reverends Jerry Miller and Mike Wheat will officiate. Pallbearers include Joe Bert Roberts, Dan Harvey, Carl Fennell, Doug White, David Souther, and Dalton Montgomery. Honorary pallbearers include Earl Bengston, Bill Adams, Steve Holland, Curtis Anderson, Dewayne Taylor, Brent Gage, and Dennis Hudson.
Jerilyn was born on February 18, 1942 to Marvin Ferris and Madge Viva (Reed) Luttrell in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Don Ray Singleton on July 29, 1976 in Decatur. Jerilyn retired from Victor Equipment as an assembly worker. She was a member of County Line Cowboy Church in Sunset.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Don Singleton of Decatur; her sons, Trent Sherman of Rhome, Tracy Sherman and wife Belinda of Decatur, and Tim Sherman and wife Melissa of Decatur; her daughter, Robin Stout and husband William of Decatur; her grandchildren, Matthew, Krystal, Anna, Nathan, Devin, Caitlyn, Brooke, Morgan, Jase, Skylar, Avery, and McKenna; her great-grandchildren, Lochlan, Maylie, Kanen, Jasper, Emmi, and Laken; numerous extended family, and a host of friends.
