Jerry Claude Henson, 81, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 5, 2022 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 14, 2022 in Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 12 noon-1:00 p.m. Monday before the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Brad Allen will officiate.

Jerry was born December 27, 1940 to Claude Solomon and Lela (Padgett) Henson in Decatur, Texas. He was a self-employed contractor.  Jerry proudly served our country in the United States Army. Jerry was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Lela Henson; his brother Jack Henson.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Nathan Henson of Ft. Worth, and Chris Henson of Aledo; his daughter, Jessica Allen and husband Brad of Ft. Worth; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ed Henson and wife Judy of Decatur; and his sister, Claudette Harrell of Haslet; extended family members and a host of friends.
