Boyd ~ Jerry D. Mayhue, 80, a retired electrician, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 26, 2011 in Decatur.

Jerry was born February 27, 1931 to C.D. and Irene (Evans) Mayhue in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. He married Lila Ragsdale on November 21, 1952 in Fort Worth. Jerry served his country in the United States Navy, was a retired union electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 20 for more than 50 years. He loved to fish and hunt, but mostly loved spending time with family, friends, watching old westerns and telling stories, whether the stories were true or not.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish him memory are his wife of 58 years, Lila Mayhue of Boyd; his daughters, Zoe Ann Mayhue and Linda Lee Mayhue both of Boyd; his sons, Jeffery Scott Mayhue and wife Sheila and Michael Shawn Mayhue all of Boyd; his brother, John Tabor and wife Dee of League City, Texas; his grandchildren, Derek and Terri Mayhue, Dustin and Brittany Mayhue, Austin and Jude Bissonnette, and Ana Mayhue; his great grandchildren, Kaidyn, Kalyn, Sarah, DustiLynn, Noah and Chloe; other family members and a host of friends.
