Newark ~ Jerry Lynn Parnell, 54, a mechanic, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 30, 2015 in Decatur.
Memorial service is 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 13, 2015 at the Greater Community Church, 190 N. Main Street, Rhome, Texas (corner of N. Main and E. 2nd St.)
Pastor David Thurman will officiate.
Jerry was born on September 8, 1961 to Fred and Jean (Mitchell) Parnell in Louisville, Kentucky. He was engaged to Patty Campbell. Jerry was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chico.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his fiancé, Patty Campbell of Newark; his sons, Josh Parnell of Rhome, and Jimmy Campbell, II of Weatherford; his daughter, Melinda Campbell of Newark; his sisters, Judy Hambrick and husband Randy of Boyd, Stacy Ratti of Missouri, Christine Thurman and husband David of Fort Worth; his brothers, Eugene Parnell and wife Rosa of Blanchard, Oklahoma, Mike Parnell and wife Kathy of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Hailey Parnell, Shane Wolf, Jr., Morgan Campbell, and Caden Campbell; other family members and a host of friends.
