Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2012 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with private burial. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.

Pallbearers include Maria Arriola, Deloris Sandoval, Rocio Rosales, Lupe Flores, Tammie Sillitte Bible, Jovita Martinez, Machiel Coleman, and Tina Sillitte. Honorary pallbearers include Reba Dunn, Sarah Jackson, Yolanda Gachuzo, and Lori Coleman.

Jessie was born on January 29, 1954 to Liandro and Felicata (Dabila) Martinez in Bridgeport. He was united in married to Debora Korinne Ferreiro on December 31, 1996 in Wise County.

He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Manuel Martinez and Freddie Martinez; and 5 sisters, Juanita Pardon, Amelia Nuncio, Bruna Lopez, Chama Ramirez, and Frances Martinez.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Jeremiah Martinez and wife Velina of Chico, Joshua Martinez and wife Jackie of Chico; his daughters, Brandi Caffey and husband Walter of Sanger, Jessica Grizzell and husband David of Runaway Bay; 7 grandchildren, Gabe, Xavier, Zack, Brandy, Brittnay, Brianna, Brook; his brothers, Joe Martinez and wife Ofelia of Bridgeport, Benny Martinez of Fort Worth, Raymond Martinez of Bridgeport; his sisters, Lola Ramirez and Julian of Bridgeport, Lupe Silletti and husband Tony of Bridgeport, Rose Mary Osteguin and husband Victor of Decatur, Connie Silletti of Bridgeport, Terry Romero of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
