Jewel Julia Wilson Tedder

Born August 18, 1929 Hardy TX – Passed away in Nocona, Texas February 12, 2022.

Jewel Tedder, 92, was born in Hardy, Texas to Oscar Sidney Wilson and Rhoda Ellis Wilson.

She is preceded in death by both her parents.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Keith Tedder; her brothers, George Wilson, Archie Wilson, Purvis Wilson, Gerel Wilson, Oscar S. Wilson Jr., and Billy Wilson; and her sisters, Joy Rapovich and Ruby Wilson; also a son, Ronald Edwin Tedder; and grandson Jason Scott Tedder.

Her occupation was a surgical dental assistant and seamstress.  She loved to sew and make goodies for all she knew.  Most recently she made masks for the pandemic (over 1000).

Jewel is survived by her children, Jerry Don Tedder and wife Lenda of Weatherford, Beverly Roberts and her husband Randy of Kansas, Richard Tedder and wife Brenda of Arlington, Kenneth Tedder and wife Lara of Bridgeport, and Mark Tedder of Austin. She was blessed with a multitude of grandchildren, 3 generations.  She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, February 18, 2022 at Twin Oaks Assembly of God, 300 E. Cates, Bridgeport, Texas 76426.
