Jim Paul Sartain

Tulsa ~ Jim Paul Sartain, 76, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 13, 2018 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Victory Family Church with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Pastor Allen Bates will officiate. Pallbearers include Brandon Sartain, Colten Sartain, Victor Valverde, Jarod Moss, Wesley Sisk and Chris Bates.

Jim was born on August 15, 1941 to Earl Marvin and Josie Lorraine (McDonald) Sartain in Antlers, Oklahoma. He was united in marriage to Diana Mae Bates on July 16, 1960 in Irving. Jim proudly served his country as a sailor in the United States Navy. He was a member of New Life Church in Wilburton, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 57 years, Diana Sartain of Wilburton, Oklahoma; his sons, Bryon Sartain and wife Pamela of De Soto, Darin Sartain of Colleyville and Robby Sartain of Fort Worth; his grandchildren, Heather, Rachel, Brandon, Chelsea, Shelby and Colten; his great grandchildren, Reagan, Connor, Mia, Nicolas and Faith; his brothers, Bill Sartain and wife Neva of Santa Fe, Texas and Terry Sartain and wife Karen of Whitesboro; his sisters, Marie Becker and husband Sam of Houston and Shirley Sartain of Santa Fe, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
