DECATUR -- Jim Sudduth, 84, a retired maintenance supervisor from Ft.Worth ISD,went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 26, 2009.in Decatur. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Aurora Cemetery.Bro. Steve Weeks officiating. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jim was born the son of Henry and Susan Ruth (Black) Sudduth in Fort Worth.
He served his country proudly during WWII in the Army. Jim was a member of the Boyd Church of Christ.
Those left behind to cherish his memory: Daughter, Sharon Best and husband Joe of Decatur. Sons, Artice Sudduth of Bedford, James Sudduth and wife Peggy of Chandler,Az. 10 Grandchildren: Joe,Steve,Dominque,Orlando,Shelby,Ricky,Skeeter,Jason,Sarah and Sandi.
3 Great Grandchildren: Jadelyn,Logan and Julie.
2 Sisters: Jauretta Francis and husband Carl of Azle,Nancy Harwell of Granbury.
Numerous other family members and a host of friends.
Jim was preceded in death by wife Bethel, parents, daughter, Helen Sudduth, brother,H.L. Sudduth,sisters,Ruby Levine and Jonnie Lou Wood.
