Decatur: Jimmie Cassity Rhine, 65, a retired nurse, went to be with our Lord, Saturday, April 14, 2012 in Decatur.

Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Miller officiating. Interment: Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Dalton Montgomery, Phil Haynes, James Haynes, Wylie Meador, Dan Harvey and John Gibbon.

Jimmie was born April 3, 1947 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Glen and Leora (Watts) Cassity. She was a member of the graduating Class of 1965 from Decatur High School. Jimmie was united in marriage to Thomas Rhine on April 30, 1971 in Decatur. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

Left behind to cherish her memory is husband of 40 years, Thomas Rhine of Decatur; two daughters, Kris Cooke and husband Patrick of Fort Worth, Misty Hudson and husband Hoss of Decatur; two granddaughters, Madison and Ashlee Hudson of Decatur; 3 sisters, Wanda Morrison, Bobbie Powell and husband W.L., and Glenda Longmire all of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family members at this time of the loss of your loved one. I remember this Cassity cousin as a very young child and then as a young girl. In my memories I think of Jimmie as a smiling and happy "Daddy's girl".
