Boyd ~ Jimmie Pevy Seymour, 88, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Boyd.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Friday at Rosewood Memorial Park in Porter, Texas.

The Reverend Bill Gay to officiate.

Jimmie was born on July 5, 1931 to James and Olive Jane (Smith) Pevy in Homer, Louisiana. She was united in marriage to Walter Seymour on September 11, 1948 in Reno, Nevada. Jimmie was a member of the Solid Rock Bible Church in Springtown.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Celia Seymour

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Walter Seymour of Boyd; her sons, Walter Seymour Jr., of Fort Worth, Stephen Seymour of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Donald Seymour of Boyd, Texas; her granddaughters, Sonya Andrews of Chesapeake, Virginia, and Sarah Reece of Springtown; her grandsons, Douglas Wright of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jeffrey Seymour of Yukon, Oklahoma, Danny Seymour of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Matthew Seymour of Seattle, Washington; her great-grandchildren, Isaac, Nicholas, Madeleine, and Sydney Andrews all of Chesapeake, Virginia, Hope Reece of Springtown, Elizabeth and Evalynn Seymour both of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Emmaline Seymour of Yukon, Oklahoma; her brother, Billy Ashby of Morningsport, Louisiana; her sister, Kathleen Terry of Shreveport, Louisiana; extended family and a host of friends.
