Graveside service is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3rd at Lingleville-East Cemetery, Stephenville, Texas with Rev. Gary Sessions officiating. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Jimmie was born June 10, 1924 in Colorado City, Texas to Romeo Earl and Adrus W.(Havens) Whirley. She was united in marriage to George Mack Wooley on November 18, 1938 in Colorado City. Jimmie was a member of the Smithfield Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, and sister, Nelda Dain.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Rod Wooley and wife Carol of Alvord; two brothers, J. L. Whirley and wife Dana of Ft. Worth and Earl Whirley and wife Martha Ann of Witter, Arkansas; two sisters, Betty Joe Prescott and husband Charles of Springtown and Bobbie Sweeney of San Diego, California; two granddaughters, Michelle Miller and husband Mack of Klein, Texas and Melissa Hill and husband Bryan of Aledo, Texas and six great grandchildren.
