Jimmy Arrington

Bromide ~ Jimmy Arrington, 70, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 6, 2015 in Bonham, Texas.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Assembly of God Church in Rhome with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Rick Stokes will officiate. Pallbearers include Roger Lewis, Larry Lewis, Wesley Romine, Mark Romine and Clayborne Young.  Honorary pallbeares are Billy Wilson, Wayne Young and Paul Arrington.

Jimmy was born on September 30, 1944 to Ross and Minnie (Young) Arrington in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage to Mari Ritton on March 7, 1993 in Loveland, Colorado. He was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. Jimmy was a past employee of Bell Helicopter and Farm Bureau insurance company and a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tommy Arrington

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Mari Arrington of Bromide, Oklahoma; his son, Aaron Arrington and wife Penny of North Richland Hills; his daughter, Jana Labonte and husband Ron of Colorado; his grandchildren, Joshua Arrington, Ashley Arrington, Madison Arrington, and Mackenzie Arrington, Meagan Hatfield and husband Chris; his great grandchildren, Kinley and Mason Hatfield; his sister, Billy Romine and husband Oscar of Rhome; his sister in law, Nancy Arrington of Rhome; other family members and a host of friends.
