Bowie ~ Jimmy Joseph Campbell, 61, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 2, 2022.

Graveside Serviced is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Ash Creek Cemetery in Azle, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Jimmy was born June 23, 1960 to Jimmie and Shirley Jean (Temple) Campbell in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage June 19, 1984 to Patty Ann Bell in Wise County, Texas. Jimmy was a retired heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmie and Shirley Campbell; and his sister, Carla Barton.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 37 years, Patty Campbell of Bowie; his daughter, Melinda Phenix and husband Chris of Boyd; his son, Jimmy Campbell II of Bowie; 7 grandchildren, Morgan, Shane Jr., Caden, Sarah, Jason, Hayley, and Bria; his brother, Robert Campbell and wife Rita of Arkansas; 2 sisters, Mary Brooks of Bowie and Katie Campbell of Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
