Jimmy L. Coffey Sr.

Decatur ~ Jimmy Lee Coffey, Sr., 66, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 5, 2019 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Hawkins Funeral Home chapel in Decatur with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.

Sam Redfern will officiate.

Jimmy was born on December 9, 1952 to William Riley and Margie Laverne (Owens) Coffey in Pilot Point, Texas. He was united in marriage to Beverly Ann Suter on January 4, 1979 in Decatur, Texas. He retired from Victor Equipment.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and his brother, Bud Coffey.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Jimmy Lee Coffey, Jr. and wife Anita of Bridgeport, and Jason Matthew Coffey of Aubrey; his step-son, Bobby Lee Hill of Decatur; his sisters, Linda Crowsey of Collinsville, and Jean Kinney of Aubrey; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
