Bridgeport ~ Jimmy Roy Flood, 76, a retired lumberjack, went to be with our Lord Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Decatur.

Jimmy was born on June 14, 1943 to Oliver and Martha (Hoye) Flood in Coquille, Oregon. He was united in marriage to Melva Jean Lavender on September 2, 1966 in Colorado. Jimmy was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Melva Flood; and his grandson, Roger.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Bonnie Ellis and husband Raymond of Decatur; his grandchildren, Chris, Cody, Kayla, and Bruce; his 4 great-grandchildren; numerous brothers, and a host of friends.
