Decatur ~ Jimmy John Jones, 73, went to be with our Lord Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Decatur.
Celebration of Life will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday March 4, 2017 at the home of Jason and Carley Jones.
Jimmy was born on December 4, 1943 to Kenneth and Vera (Alexander) Jones in Pecos, Texas. He was united in marriage to Sandra Oletta Woods on January 17, 1977 in Decatur. Jimmy retired after 15 years from auto assembly worker at Peterbuilt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Vera Jones; his wife, Sandra Jones; his brothers, Bobby Jones, Jackie Jones, Shannon Jones, David Jones.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Jason Jones and wife Carley of Decatur; his daughters, Christi Campsey and husband Chad of Laramie, Wyoming, Shanda Southerland of Stanford, Texas; his grandchildren, Tyler, Haley,Joseph Campsey, Morgan and Alek Southerland, Macey and Kenley Jones; his great grandchild, Calvin Hiatt; his sisters, Joy Litton and husband George, Jane Miller of Chico, Julie Cottrell of Chico, Sonya Jones and husband Denny of Fort Worth; his brothers, Joe Jones and wife Jay of Robinson, Texas, Mike Jones of Runaway Bay, Keith Jones and wife Verna of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
