Bridgeport ~ Jo Davis, 53, a cafeteria manager, went to be with our Lord Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 3:00 p.m. Thursday, November 21, 2013 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Dimmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Steve Simmons, Seth Simmons, John Lamb, Danny Price, David Walker, Eric Brown, Jason Carpenter, and Ricky Schwartz.
Jo was born on April 1, 1960 to J.T and Quanna (Simmons) Price in Bridgeport, Texas. She was united in marriage to Kent Davis on June 23, 1978 in Bridgeport. He preceded her in death in 2005. Jo was a cafeteria manager at Bridgeport Middle School. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T "Babe" and Quanna Price; and her husband, Kent Davis. Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ashley Vick and husband Willie of Bridgeport; her grandchildren, Gage and Keenan; her sisters, Nita Zapata and husband Richard of Nacogdoches, Debbie Curda of Denton; other family members and a host of friends.
