Joan Marie Hulsey

Boyd ~ Joan Marie Hulsey, 84, a retired teacher, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, July 6, 2021 in Richardson.

Memorial service is 2 PM Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Joan was born on August 1, 1936 to Roscoe and Orlanda (Daniels) Shiflet in Boyd. She was united in marriage to Larry Hulsey on August 12, 1976 in Fort Worth. Joan was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Larry Hulsey; and her sister, Peggy Ann Smith.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 3 sons, Mark Anderson of Decatur, Matt Anderson and wife Tammy of Crockett, and Michael Anderson and wife Debbie of Richardson; 7 grandchildren, Robin Pruitt, Casey Anderson, Cassie Hutto, Caleb Anderson, Dylan Anderson, Preston Anderson, and John Michael Anderson; 6 great-grandchildren, Malachi, Kennedy, Reaghan, Knox, Ike, and Barrett; other relatives and a host of friends.
